BIVVY LIFE

Rachid has got three different tents/brollies for his life at the banks.

1. A Nash double top MK4 two man bivvy, for long trips or when he has got one of our sons with him. It needs quite a lot of space.

2. A Rod Hutchinson Cabrio one man bivvy, which is perfect for a weekend on his own, even for three or four nights out.

3. And finally he has got a Solar Brolly System, which is perfect for a single night or busy weekendtrip with late arrival and or early departure.

Rod Hutchinson bivvies: A long love affair

In 1990, maby 1991, Rachid bought his first bivvy when we lived in England. It was "a castle", designed by the legendary Rod Hutchison. It was the first two bedchair bivy Hutchinson had designed.

It was a fantastic quality, and it actually lasted until 2016, then he said goodbye to it on a site in Germany.

The replacement was a Nash Scope one man, but it was a bit to tiny, and in 2017 it was replaced by a new Rod Hutchinson one man Caprio Bivvy. It has done well, but this year it is about to be replaced by a Nash Titan T1 Pro, but it won't be out until the coming spring.
